Failed FlavoursBeach Plum Iced Tea - Summer 1992-November 1994.Beach Plum Iced Tea was one of those “failed flavors” that cannot really be considered a failure. It had an amazing following on Cape Cod, Nantucket Island, and Marth's Vineyard, and at one point early in Nantucket Nectars history was one of the top-selling flavors. Unfortunately, most people don't want to eat or drink something that they don't know, and since Beach Plums are native to Nantucket, there wasn't much of a market for it elsewhere. Once in awhile we still get people asking us when we'll bring this flavor back! |
