Cranberry Grapefruit - 1990

One of the original three flavors, Cranberry Grapefruit was also the original dog. Tom First is credited with this flavor concoction, and to this day, no one quite knows what he was thinking. It's fairly well known that not too many people like grapefruit juice - it's too tart. And not many people like cranberry juice - it's too bitter. So, what happens when you put the two flavors together? Apparently, no one likes it! To add insult to injury, the color of the juice would turn a “pleasant shade of brown” within a month of being on the shelf. Having such a failure during one of the first 3 flavors, we're surprised and thankful that Tom and Tom continued their juice business and came out with some other great flavors to replace Cranberry Grapefruit.
