Failed FlavoursGreen Angel - March 1999-March 2001In the famouse words of Kermit the Frog, 'It's not easy being green.' ANd Green Angel certainly never had it easy. A blend of bananas, pineapples and cocnuts - the taste was a tropical medley bursting with flavor. But the added ingredients of spirulina, echinacea, astragalus, cholorella, angelica, wheat greass, and blue green algae gave the drink a color and thickness that never quite caught on. As one juice guy phrased it, 'The swampy appearance scared everyone away except die-hards that were not persuaded.' Our very own resident mixologist claimed, '...but I know I couldn't drink it with my eyes open.' |
