Ozone Surf Classic
The Ozone Surf Classic is a competition to celebrate the life and memory of local islander and surfer David Ozias. Touching the heart of the community, David Ozias was an exceptional individual who exuded kindness and love. We hope to complement and continue his passion for riding the waves through this annual event. All proceeds are donated to local island charities in David's name. Check out the slide show from 2004.
This year's event takes place on Sunday, August 7th at 8am on Cisco Beach, which is located at the end of Hummock Pond Road. The entry fee is $25.00. Each competitor will receive an Ozone Surf Classic T-shirt. Additionally, a BBQ (water and juice will also be served) will take place during the afternoon.
