TOM: Hi I'm Tom. TOM: and I'm Tom. TOM: We’re juice guys. TOM: We’re juice guys. TOM: How do we start this thing? TOM: This is Nantucket Harbor we used to go to all of these different yachts that used to be around here selling everything from ice to, to muffins, to coffee. TOM: Lobster dinners, TOM: Lobster dinner. TOM: Do the laundry, pump the doo-doo out of their boats. TOM: We made the peach juice. Everyone tried it, and made it in a blender. You were way into it, and I don’t know whether I said, God we should bottle this no one makes this in the United States, really. T Scott and I ended up driving to the Finest the local supermarket there, we bought every fruit you can imagine. We bought blueberries, peaches, you know, pears, we bought peaches, oh, did I say peaches? I think we actually said that night, you know, we should call the stuff Nantucket Nectars. And we didn’t take ourselves that seriously that night. But we knew it was a good idea. TOM: And the juice was pretty successful too, we said, why don't we start selling this stuff, we'll sell it off the boat this summer and just see how it goes. TOM: This was the whole business, this boat, right here, it’s the entire business. Everything ran out of here. Marketing department, sales department, accounting, right here. Complete administration, in the boat. This is where we learned to sales, too. I mean, it’s the ultimate sales business. TOM: The next logical step for us after having the boat business was to have a base of operations where we could feed the boat business and sell on land. At some point actually the boat and store were doing as much business, but eventually the store took over and started doing more and more volume as people found out about it. TOM: This is the store in here. Customers, random customers. And right over here in this area, this used to be an icehouse, this whole space was an icehouse, but right over here, we used to make juice, over here. It was an old ratty looking place, but we fixed it up, made it into a store, this is like our little headquarters today, sell nectars, nectar cooler. TOM: Our story is real, and our product is real, and our label is real. Everything you see emblazoned on this product is from the heart, it’s true, and we want to continue to develop it and move it forward. We think it’s one of the things that makes us solid. TOM: If you look at our past, you can understand our future. We’re going to continue to make our product and our company as good as we can, and we’re going to deliver for our customers. TOM: You gotta try Nantucket Nectars. TOM: We won’t let you down. [END]
